BLACK AND WHITE - Tribal Art Meets Drawings
Contrasts in Harmony
In all cultures of the world, the colors black and white are associated with ethical values, to which they serve as carriers of meaning or signs. They are the most elementary contrast of colors. White signifies ritual significance; Black stands for dignity and carries magical powers. This show will feature artworks from Africa, Indonesia and Oceania, all of which are from renowned German private collections. The acclaimed US theater director and artist Robert Wilson has created a series of expressive original drawings in black & white especially for this exhibition. We are very pleased to invite you and your friends to this extraordinary sales exhibition in our Black Box. Vernissage on Friday, July 8, 2022 at 6 pm.
